Sijie Li

About Me

I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Sheffield (UoS), working within the Computer Vision Research Group, advised by Prof. Jungong Han and Dr. Chen Chen. Previous to my PhD study, I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and my master’s degree from University of Edinburgh (UoE), respectively. I have also served as a Machine Learning Engineer in industry for over two years.

In research, I value intellectual depth and elegant simplicity.

Research Interests

• Multimodal learning: Learning with constraints (e.g., missing modality, limited computing resources, etc).
• Foundation models: LLM, MLLM & their compression, reasoning, applications, etc.

I am currently open to all kinds of collaboration in the scope of multimodal learning and computer vision.
